EMI:
I received Christ as
my Savior in 1995 at the Word of Life Summer Camp. That same
week, at the campfire, I dedicated my life to missionary work.
In 2000, God gave me the opportunity to study the Bible at
the WOL Bible Institute in Argentina. After three years I
returned to Romania to serve God as a missionary with Word
of Life. I have had the opportunity of being involved in local
church ministry through Bible Clubs, evangelistic campaigns
and leadership training. The burden God has laid on my heart
is to serve Him among young people for the rest of my life,
leading them to Christ and teaching them how to live for Him.
TEREZA: I was born in a Catholic Family where
I received a very strong religious education. This did
not keep me from participating in many bad things along with
my friends; such as, parties, rock music, longing for peer
approval and things like that. All these only led me to have
a stronger feeling of loneliness, disappointment and lack
of direction in life.
On November 2, 1995, at a WOL open-air evangelistic activity,
I found out for the first time in my life that God loves me
in a personal way. At the same time, I understood that I was
a sinner and that the wages of my sin was eternal death. I
believed in Christ's sacrifice on the cross. I believed in
the One who suffered punishment in my place, and I received
Him in my heart. I am sure that His blood cleansed me from
all of my sins and I received eternal life as a gift from
God.
In July 1996, at the WOL Summer Camp and guided by God's Word,
I made the decision to dedicate my life to Him and to serve
Him as a missionary for His glory. God gave me the privilege
of going to the WOL Bible Institute in Hungary for two years
and for one year in Argentina.
